The MY PORTAL section above provides the public the ability to search for building permits, land use reviews, regulatory licenses, and view scheduled inspections.

The PUBLIC NOTICES portal allows the public to view notices issued for land use applications that are in the review process.

You can also view REPORTS and other DOCUMENTS below.

If you have an ONLINE ACCESS CODE, please create an account and enter the access code when prompted. If you already have an account, sign in, go to "my account" and enter the access code. If you don't have one, you can call (509) 698-7365 to obtain your access code.

By creating an account, you will have the ability to:

• Check on the status of your permit application
• Apply for certain building permits and land use applications
• Request inspections
• Review inspection activity and results
• Pay Online for permits/applications
• Pay for your regulatory license renewal and print your license
• Upload site plans and/or other submittal documentation for land use reviews
• Subscribe to e-mail notifications for your permits/licenses

Notice to the Public: Regarding Request Information Button

The Request for Information button in the Contact Us section is intended to be a request for general information about city projects, it is not intended for Public Records Request as required by the Washington State Public Records Act (RCW 42.56).  All request for Public Records should be submitted through the following website:  Public Records Request (selahwa.gov)

The Washington State Public Records Act (RCW 42.56) supports the public’s right to be informed about what their government is doing, and requires state and local agencies to make public records available to the public.  Similarly, the City of Selah is committed to responding to all public records request in a timely manner. 

Notice to the Public: Regarding Reporting Code Enforcement Violations and Infrastructure Issues through the public portal.

All Code Enforcement Violations and Infrastructure Issues submitted in writing or through the public portal via the Report a Concern button in the Contact Us section are subject to public disclosure as required by the Washington State Public Records Act (RCW 42.56)/and or federal law.

This means that the information you provide, including but not limited to that provided online and/or written on the Code Enforcement Complaint /Investigation Form, are potentially subject to public disclosure under the law, and that the property owner you are complaining about, or any member of the press or member of the public, may have the legal right to obtain copies of the information you provide.

If you wish to submit an Anonymous Complaint, where the City will redact your information to the greatest extent possible, or you wish to allow the City access to enter upon your property to view the subject property/violation, please STOP AND DO NOT SUBMIT AN ONLINE CODE ENFORCEMENT VIOLATION.  All Anonymous Code Compliance violations must be completed using the form supplied here: CODE-ENFORCEMENT-COMPLAINT-Form.pdf (selahwa.gov)
